About KAYDI
From the football field to better mornings
KAYDI was founded by Christian Thobo Køhler and Martin Lauritsen, two professional football players who met each other in Fremad Amager – and quickly found a common vision: to change the way we wake up.
KAYDI One is an alarm clock that makes your phone redundant on your bedside table. Our wake-up light simulates a natural sunrise, so your body wakes up gradually – without shock, stress or blue screen light. At the same time, it acts as a nightlight, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and better sleep.
Our mission is simple: Get the phone out of the bedroom!
Far too many people start their day by reaching for their phones. From the moment we wake up, we are bombarded with notifications, social media, and news – a stressful start to the day that is anything but optimal for your energy levels throughout the day. We want to change that.
From the Super League to the startup world
Christian “TK” Køhler was a great talent at FC Nordsjælland, where he made his Superliga debut under Kasper Hjulmand. He represented Denmark on the U/16 national team before his career took him to Sweden and Iceland. At the age of 28, he stopped his professional career and became Team Manager for the U16 and U17 national teams.
From Series 1 to full-time professional
Martin Lauritsen played youth football for FC Midtjylland and Vejle, but injuries put his development on hold. He had to start over in Serie 1, where he worked his way up through the ranks through healthy habits and hard work. This led to a move to Fremad Amager, where he is now a full-time professional.
In addition to football, he is studying to become a financial economist and has previously run USOX I/S.
From football to entrepreneurship – from dream to reality.
We want to revolutionize the way we wake up. Forever.
